Angry Indian Goddesses!!
You know over the years we have heard so much about the ‘’male
ego’’ and the whole whitewashing of our psyche, our conditioning, our identity
based on it I see no one ever mentioning or even addressing the ‘Female ego’
which is the chi to this malfunctioning and misadjusting aspect of our society.
Now, I can concoct a whole bunch of words and my theory
behind what I really mean by the ‘female ego’ and how it can be the key to a
women’s mind, body, and heart. Guys, you can get your notepads ready.
But first of all, in the vaguest of sense, do you believe that
it really exists? Can you even sense it? Do you think that it’ll destroy you?
Are you scared of it? You think it’s some version of the angry ‘Monjolika’ that
you’ve been exposed to? Or you think that it’s some version of Kali with her
tongue out caught in a situation where she has clearly faltered.
Have you ever experienced a woman going really mad and observed
her carefully? Did you see that flicker of spark turning into a fireball? The
thing is you don’t have the eyes to see the number of internal ‘restrains’
every woman passes through on a daily basis.
I am not saying it’s not the same for guys. A lot can happen
with men too. Things go wrong. A series of things happen, you can’t take it
anymore, and BOOM. Smash that wall, you better see how angry I am.
But what about women? Let’s talk about what happens after
the outburst. I am sorry I don’t have the statistic but every single woman
would immediately feel that surge of guilt engulfing her spirit, her body, and
her nerves would turn cold, she would shiver and tears would start rolling down
her eyes. Its guilt, its shame, a whole cocktail of emotions buzzing through
her veins…Her mind constantly telling her how the hell did you let that out? It’s
so embarrassing that it’s out for the world to see.
Listen STOP! The world can take it.
This whole urge of wrapping yourself up, cocooning yourself
as much as you can, squeezing yourself up into a corner. I don’t see men doing that, EVER!! It is at this moment
precisely that the metaphorical ‘arm wrestling’ of egos starts. Ladies, the
ones who soften and reach out to you are your Heros. The ones who insist on
fighting and winning some imaginary scoreboard are fighting their own battles
that you don’t need to be a part of. (Courtesy narcissist, psychopaths, sociopaths,
you name it)
Now, my purpose of writing this was to break the taboo around
women getting angry and made to feel guilty about it. There is absolutely nothing
to feel ashamed about feeling angry. Get angry, get mad, and cry your heart out
if you have to just don’t go around apologizing about it later.
Anger is power; the world needs to stop policing it.
